What did you do at the weekend?
I worked mega haard this past weekend. Friday & Saturday night while my friends were out partying, I stayed in to work on some kicks for JayZ and Memphis Bleek who were rolling in to my little Glasgow City on Sunday night. Went to the Hotel after the concert, and linked with Memphis Bleek in the Phantom!! ooh I want to swap cars but I doubt my little ford would be tempting enough as a swap. Met with bleek, and I get this all the time - when I tell people I customize sneakers they look at me funny - yeh yeh I know, I dont look like a sneaker customizer… but what does a sneaker customizer really look like?
Anyway, gave the kicks to Bleek and he was really impressed with my work - so much so, that I had to pull an all nighter to get another pair done before he left town. So the next night, they were playing in Aberdeen which is a 3 hour drive away from Glasgow, they linked me up with guestlist for the concert. This is the second time I’ve seen JayZ live, he was out here last year, and he just keeps getting better for me. I linked with Bleek again after the Aberdeen show to hand over his heat sensitive ‘hide me’ customs. I thought it was great that he was asking me all sorts of questions about what I do, how long I’ve been doing it for and what I’ve achieved so far - He was really interested in what I do and says alot of people customize but not alot of people do it this well 
He also said that Jay really liked his chain reaction kicks and says I have a talent! THE MAN thinks I’m talented!!! wow. We’re going to keep in touch and I’m proud to say I’ll be hooking the R.O.C up with plenty more heat… Next is Freeway I gotta do a pair for him - yes I know I dont look like a customizer or a hip hop fan but dont judge a book by its cover people… R.O.C baby
